(DOCUMENTARY) Ginger Westray, a retired schoolteacher from Columbia, South Carolina, uses her entire house as a canvas for her art. She expresses her freedom through her murals and sculpture. In “The Art House,” we get a taste of Ginger’s artistic techniques and her philosophy on life.

Ron Westray, Jr., Ginger’s son, is a trombone player who toured with Wynton Marsalis for 12 years. He composed and played the music for the documentary. Ron holds the Oscar Peterson chair in music at York University in Toronto, Canada.
