Backstory: “This is the first in a series of short films I plan to Produce that feature Marionettes from the 1940’s and 50’s to parody arias from Classical Operas and make them more accessible to viewers of all ages. I shoot with a minimal crew — myself (as Cameraman/Editor) and only two Assistants/Puppeteers to maintain the simplicity of the production and insure a single vision. In the future, I will create longer satiric works— perhaps an entire opera like “Hansel &Gretel” or “Threepenny Opera”. And maybe. . . just maybe dare to incorporatereal, human actors and singers.”
